The Good Old Bad Old Days explores the high life, low life and sometimes very low life of Sydney’s inner east.
Warren Fahey brings history alive with tales of snow-capped mountains and scenic railways at The White City, Rushcutters Bay, ‘peeping Toms’ at Elizabeth Bay, cheeky boys waving their willies at the incoming ferries of Woollomooloo Wharf, sordid orgies at Kings Cross, and the bumpy high life of Potts Point. Warren guarantees to deliver an eclectic romp through the social history of some of Sydney’s most famous neighbourhoods
Warren Fahey AM, has been observing, writing and singing about Australia for nearly fifty years. Historian, writer, actor, broadcaster and performer, he has been honoured with the Order of Australia, Advance Australia Medal, Prime Minister’s Medal and, in 2010, Australia’s highest honour for lifetime contribution to music, The Don Banks Music Award. He prefers to say he is a graduate of the Dingo University. ’The Good Old Bad Old Days’ is his 30th book.
